    SCHEDULE: Regular 8-Period Schedule
     
    GENERAL:
    - Beginning this Thursday, construction will start on Division Street in Hull. The road will be closed to through traffic during this time. If you normally use Division Street to get to and from school, please plan an alternate route and allow yourself extra time for travel.
    - Is your family ready to host for three weeks this fall? Let’s make this final year the best! There are several Dutch students who want to come to Iowa. Yes, right here. It would be ideal to have host families selected this summer. In order to do that, we need host families for girls but also boys. If you are selected to host, you will be eligible (if you choose) to take part in the exchange to the Netherlands next Spring. Contact carey.vandonselaar@westernchrisianhs.com. *This is the last year for the exchange with Greijdanus as they are ending their program. While we continue to work on opportunities at other schools, it is possible that any future exchange will not be with a school in the Netherlands.
    ATHLETICS:
    - Girls' and boys' golf are at Emmetsburg tonight. Please dismiss at 1:30, vans leave at 1:45.
    - Varsity girls' and boys' soccer play at home tonight vs. Spirit Lake. The seniors will be recognized on both teams in between games at 5:45. Games are at 4:30 and 6:00.

Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same.
