    GENERAL:
    - Mr. DeStigter’s Faithpack is assigned service clean-up after the basketball game tomorrow night.
    --For chapel tomorrow, we will go directly to the EC.  Our Faithpacks will not meet because our speaker wants to open the floor to Q & A after our final song.  

    ACADEMIC REGISTRAR:
    - Check JMC for your second-semester schedule and start becoming familiar with it.
    -  Sophomore-Senior students interested in CTE (career and technical education) for the 2nd semester, please stop by Mr. De Stigter’s office to grab an application.  With this program, you can earn an elective credit by working with a local business partner during the school day.  See Mr. D for more info if you are interested.  
    - The tech department is missing numerous laptop chargers. Please return them to the HUB.

    GENERAL:
    - -Ms. Jeltema’s Faithpack is assigned to service cleanup after tonight's basketball game. Thank you, Jeltema Faithpack!
    -- Mrs. Minderhoud’s Faithpack is assigned service clean-up after the basketball game on Thursday night.

    ACADEMIC REGISTRAR:
    -  The CNA class being held at Western will start next Monday. There is room in the course. It will meet from 6:30 to 8:00 am on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in the biology room. Last call for students interested in joining the class. Contact Mrs. de Boom for registration information.

    ATHLETICS:
    - Boys wrestling is at Missouri Valley tonight for a double dual. Wrestling starts at 5:30. Please dismiss all boys wrestling at 2:00.
    - We host girls and boys basketball vs. Lennox tonight, starting at 3:45. Varsity games are at 6:00 and 7:30. Please have the east locker rooms cleared out during 8th period.

    - Large Group and Individual Speech meets tomorrow after school. Speech t-shirt orders are due by 3:30 on Friday. Find the form on Classroom.

    -Just a reminder that during home games, students will need to remain on the bleachers during warm-ups and during the games. Thanks for doing your part to help things run smoothly!
    –All students going to Honor Band tomorrow, please go to the band room at morning break for a picture.

    - Students, if you are interested in a CTE experience for the 2nd semester, stop by Mr. De Stigter’s office (science wing) and pick up a CTE application. 

    COLLEGE ANNOUNCEMENTS: 
    - Seniors: Career Academy is hosting a Scholarship and Application Night on January 12th from 5:00-6:00 pm (rescheduled from previous dates).  Students will receive helpful checklists and guidelines, as well as some tips and tricks, as they enter the scholarship world.  There are many opportunities opening in January, so this would be a great head start on winning those scholarship dollars. Please email Brenda Sandbulte at bsandbulte@nwicc.edu if you are interested in attending.
    - Seniors: Hull Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is due January 15th! 
    - Seniors: NCC internal scholarships are now open. Check your email from NCC for instructions on how to log in and apply. We will have an admissions representative and someone from the scholarship department coming on Monday, January 26th, during lunches to help students apply. 

    ATHLETICS:
    - Girls wrestling is at Brandon Valley tonight. Please dismiss at 12:15.
    - Girls and boys basketball play at home tonight. JV games start at 4:00. The varsity boys will play first tonight at 5:30, followed by the girls' varsity game. 
    -Got extreme team pride? Bring the loudest cheers and biggest enthusiasm to tonight’s game. Students who show the most over-the-top team support will win FREE PIZZA. Support the team and get free supper! The cheerleaders will reward 4 superfans with 2 free slices of pizza each who show their support with a respectable and Christ-like attitude! 
    - Boys basketball plays at the Pentagon tomorrow at 11:30
    - Boys wrestling is at the Brandon Valley tournament. Wrestling starts at 9:00 AM.
