Class of 1974 Reunion
The Class of 1974 celebrated their 45th class reunion at Western Christian High School in November of 2019.
The Class of 1974 had their 45-year reunion on Friday, November 29, 2019, at The Ridge in Sioux Center. Even after all these years, faces were familiar, comfort was quick, and laughter was easy! For those of you who were there, hope you had a great time! If you were not there, YOU were missed!
The weather tried to mess with us but nearly everyone who registered was there. Many came early to socialize! Name tags were made from our junior class pictures. After dinner, we took a classmates' photo. The fun "game" we played was a knock-off of speed dating called Speed Visiting which got people moving around the room. We also made time for those who attended events of Western's 100th anniversary in August to share with the whole group. And it wouldn't be a reunion without Open Mic!

Prizes given were Western anniversary mugs and pens.
We closed with singing "Bless Be the Tie That Binds." We encourage anyone who might want to help with the 50th reunion in five years to be in touch with this year's committee! It's important to keep the traditions of reunions going!

Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same.
