Diving into Science!
From periodic table talks to hands-on experiments, we had a blast delving into the world of science together and building community connections!
Scientists unite! Western's science department was honored to host the 2nd graders of Hull Christian and the 8th graders of Sanborn Christian this week.
Physiology & Anatomy students demonstrated how blood flows through the body and Honors Chemistry students explored classifications of elements on the periodic table, built molecular structures from chemical formulas, experienced chemical reactions from single replacement reactions and got to see sodium metal react with water.
Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same. Western Christian High School is dedicated to equipping our students to be faithful stewards of God’s Word.
